Yesterday was so much fun...

Yes indeed, yesterday was so much fun!

Imran came over yesterday. That's not something out of the ordinary for a weekend, or indeed a bank holiday Monday, but yesterday was a really good day.

Everybody wanted to watch Star Wars: Return of the Jeidi... but I've never much liked Star Wars unfortunately. I have tried hard in the past to get into the whole thing, but have always failed. Yesterday when the movie was suggested, I tried to refuse at first, but then came up with an even better plan! I shouted out "AOM!" and Imran quickly followed with, "Yeah, you can watch the film and we'll play AOM". What a beautifully executed plan that was! We then went upstairs to play our game and they watched their movie downstairs.

During the middle of our game, which was going pretty well, Rezwan's computer froze and I was immediately thrown out of the whole game. I wasn't pleased because I was doing really well! We tried again and this time we didn't even get to start the game before it froze. Soon after we abandoned the whole idea of playing AOM and somehow got caught up in tying each others hands in turn using a thick cable and seeing who could wriggle out of it the fastest. This was tricky at first (since we could only touch the cable and not the hands!) but we worked it out in the end. That was good fun. No matter how many ways he twisted the wire, I always broke free.

Everybody downstairs stopped their movie for a dinner break and then resumed transmission straight after. We then went back upstairs and just chilled for the next hour or so. It was so good to just sit and do nothing. Imran was looking at stuff on his laptop and kept coming across these documents and accounts that he wouldn't let me read! Apparently they were his 'real' accounts as opposed to the fake version he sneakily exchanged with me! I'm now on a mission to read them one day. Maybe we'll do a 'real exchange'.

I can't really remember the rest except that when we later came downstairs, we played Ludo and I lost, as usual. We then watched 'The Amytiville Horror', which I for some reason found scarier this third time round.

That was pretty much it for yesterday. I had a really nice time. I hope insha'Allah every day can be as nice after July. The more I spend time with Imran the more I look forward to it :)
